My Creative Space...

Trying my hand at something a little different today and something I have never done before. 

Hopefully the end product looks like the one I have in my head! 

The fabric is Lily and Will Cottontail Toile by Bunny Hill Designs and had tiny little bunnies in the design.

Finders Keepers

Today I had the pleasure of going to Finders Keepers and meeting up with Bec, Cam, Cathy, Ms L, and Lelsie. We had a great time looking around and an even better time sitting outside chatting!

This Week...

This week my goal is to write more blog posts!

I am getting so bad at remembering to write blog posts or never get around to writing posts as I haven't taken the photos to go with it. I have over a month full of Flea Market finds to write about (and it is the best things I have ever found Opping). I also made the above biscuits and muffins before I wrote this post, that's how much I'm avoiding it!

I have set myself the goal of writing a Flea Market finds post, a My Creative Space post and at least one other post this week and you all have to be on my back about it!

My Creative Space...

This little girl is keeping me entertained at the moment. She is based on a Banksy graffiti, see here for more on Banksy, and I'm liking doing something a little different to what I usually do. 

This weekend I am off to visit my grandparents and aunties and uncles. Which means I will probably come home with a pile of knitted stuff  from my Grandma, and hopefully she will help me start this. 

Since my aunty is also the queen of hexagons (she has tubs and tubs of them, all sorted into different colours) I may also come home with the hexagon bug as well.

My Creative Space...Tada!

I really wanted to put a picture of nothing here, 

but it's a bit hard to take a picture of nothing. 

Today My Creative Space is empty! I have finished the Diamonds Quilt and have nothing else to do. Well ok I have heaps of things I could be finishing but no real project that I am working on.

I guess that means I will just have to show you pictures of the finished quilt then...

I love this quilt. I can't wait to take it to the quilters and then pop it on my bed now that the nights are getting cooler.

I am so glad I did the class with Kaffe and Brandon, although I never imagined I would come away with a quilt so spectacular as this.
