Blogtoberfest Day 7: Here's looking at you kid

Very cute little faces to embroider and then use on these.

I started tracing off six to make for a girlfriend that is having a baby at the end of the year (31st December to be exact!) and then thought "these are way too cute, I need to make some for myself as well".

Hence I now have 12 little boy and girl faces to embroider!

Blogtoberfest Day 6: My Creative Space

Today My Space is a little different.

I wanted to share a great app for your iPhone/iPad that Michelle from Frankie & Swiss showed me today.

It is called Percolator.

It turns your photos taken on your phone

into artwork!

From this

into this!

The Pantone colour chart turns into...

This!

It will even turn this gorgeous Go Granny fabric

Into this amazing looking print!

I am going to have a go at printing some of this up onto fabric next week.
I'm thinking a dress in the bottom print would look amazing!!!

PS. This is not a sponsored post. I just really liked what you could do with the Percolator App and thought you would too.

Blogtoberfest Day 5: Liberty

What is better almost better than an this beautiful engagement ring?

Engagement fabric!

Boyance (My new name for him, The Boy + fiance) felt a little bad that I had to pull out of doing a class with this lady, here and with these lovely ladies that he took me there on the way home from Daylesford.

Even better he bought me fabric (I mean is there anything this boy can't do right, ok he is a workaholic)!

My Liberty stash is getting so big I needed to move it into a bigger container (Eeep, I was excited when I had to do this)

Maybe it is time to start using it instead of hoarding it...

Hello Kitty

How long do you think they will take to get here?! So excited!

Now I just have to find something special enough to use them on...

Blogtoberfest Day 3: 200th Post!

When this fabric came into the craft store I just knew I had to have it!
It is Terrain by Kate Spain for Moda.

The colours are so bright and gorgeous, a real summery fabric line.
Hoping I can get some yardage of the flower fabric in the top right corner, I'm thinking a summer A-line skirt in it would be beautiful.
The layer cake will be made into a quilt very quickly I think!

If you are looking at me with jealous you can get some over here or hopefully at your local patchwork store or leave a comment on this post! See I was sneak then and just built it up slowly. I will leave it open until the 17th of this month, good luck to you all!
