Blogtoberfest Day 19: Tuesday Treasures

My Tuesday Treasure is my Nan's Autograph book I found at her house the other day. There is only a few pages that have been written on, I think all in 1952. I'm pretty sure my Nan was still at school at this time (she is on holidays in Queensland, so I can't double check!)

This one was of course upside down in the book.

Yes, my Dad found found my Nan's autograph book and added his own little entry! It made me laugh because it is so like my Dad to do something like this and write exactly that kind of thing. I did ask him if he remembers writing it, but he didn't and had a good laugh over it too!

Blogtoberfest Day 18: At my House

My pup is sulking because it is raining and I can't take her for a walk.

I'm not sure why when she in snug on her bed with a crocheted blanket!

Waiting until tomorrow to see what is waiting at the post office,

Waiting until my lovely roast finishes cooking in my Chassuer,

Waiting for my Sewing class tonight so I can do some my cross stitching,

And being very proud of my Grandma. 

She got three first prizes and two second prizes for her knitting at the Rainbow Show! (Which is why she does all my knitting!)

Blogtoberfest Day 17: Stats

Ever since I realised a couple of weeks ago that Blogger had added stats about your page I have become obsessed with checking it out. Even more so when I see things like this:

 Malta? Croatia? South Korea? Really?!

Sri Lanka? Romania?

And my personal favourite: Slovakia and Morocco.

Please if you really are out there reading my Blog, let me know. 

And Slovakia, you are looking at my page 15 times a day so it would be polite to say Hello or (after a quick bit of googling) Ahoj!

Blogtoberfest Day 16: Tagxedo

Not too much happening around here today. Was ill this morning with blurry vision and horrible face ache but seems to have cleared up now. Was a bit worried when I couldn't see my stitching properly!

Blogtoberfest Day 15: Busy, busy, busy.

Was very busy today and got these three traced, cut out, ironed and then cut out again but unfortunately don't get to keep them :(

All for Kellie to take to Houston in a few days. 

I love being able to help craft, but I hate that I don't get to keep it at the end! Don't worry, and get too jealous, I don't get to do this every time I'm there. Normally it's just boring stuff like folding patterns and calculating GST and stuff like that. 

Ohh and do you want to see my helper?

Well not so much helper. 

More like 'Brianna, I want to scratch my face against the pen and your hand while you are trying to trace'!

Blogtoberfest Day 14: My Creative Space and Giveaway Winner

Not a lot happening around here today. 

Just cutting out the last few (about 50) blocks needed for the quilt, and then I can get sewing. Have been left with a lot of left over fabric. Some of the colours I have more than 60cm left so not to sure how they worked out the required amount. I guess I'll just have to make another quilt with the leftovers!

But I'm guess you all just want to know who won my giveaway huh!

The lucky girl is number 21, which if I counted correctly is Jo from Tassie! Let me know what you would like to be sent Jo.  

I'm only a couple of days away from Blog number 100, so I'm thinking a BIG giveaway is in order. What do you think?

Blogtoberfest Day 13: Self Portrait

I thought I would do my self portrait based on my blog name so here it is!

I had heaps of fun setting this up. Pulled out all my fat quarters and other bits and pieces from a big box I had and set it up on my bed. I figured if I was going to be laying there for a while while I took a million pictures, I may as well be comfortable! 
I did think of doing one of those "money' shots with fabric all over the bed and fabric falling down from the air all around me, but figured I would need someone else to take the pic. I'll just have to wait until 'someone else takes your portrait day'!
